THE ENERGY department is estimating that there will be 250 compressed natural gas (CNG) buses next year as it coordinates with the Transportation sector for new routes.
The department expects the number of alternative fuel vehicles on the country’s roads to increase.
By next year, the number of CNG buses could reach 250, 100 auto-liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) jeepneys, 18,918 auto-LPG taxis and 3,000 electric vehicles.
