THE BUREAU of Customs (BoC) is set to implement by midyear a scheme that will facilitate shipments, as it finalizes the internal clearances of the system.
“We are still working on the implementation, but hopefully we can unveil it by the middle of this year,” Customs Commissioner Rozzano Rufino B. Biazon said in an interview last week.
The National Single Window (NSW) is an online facility that allows importers and exporters to file the necessary government paperwork to various agencies to obtain clearance for their shipments.
