Benj Romualdez began his career at Telstra in 2019 as the Managing Director for Telstra Philippines. In this role, he has responsibility and oversight of all Telstra businesses and interests in the country. Benj is also the President of the Australian – New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines. He joined the Board of Directors in 2022.
Since 2002, his experience has been in higher value shared and knowledge services in the fields of Engineering, Legal, Investment & Equity Research, and Global Business Services. This includes over ten years of experience in Country and Regional management for teams and offices in the Philippines, China, Japan and the US.
Benj’s experience also includes serving the community. Prior to Telstra, he served as the Global Head of Corporate Social Responsibility & Sustainability at Integreon. He is currently the Chairman and President of Telstra Foundation Philippines, where their purpose is to make a positive and lasting difference to the lives of Filipino youth through STEM education.
In recent years, he has been an advocate for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI). Benj is the Executive Leader for Telstra’s Philippine DEI Council and GBS’ Executive Leader for Telstra’s Global DEI Council.
