MANILA, Philippines – The University of Bradford School of Management (BSOM), UK continues to extend its reach in Asia with the recent unveiling of an executive MBA in Manila.
Bradford will provide students in the Philippines the same top-ranked MBA that a student studying in Bradford UK would earn since BSOM’s own faculty will fly to Manila to personally deliver classes.
In the Philippines, BSOM has partnered with the Australian International School (AIS), a multidisciplinary educational institution known as a Philippine leader in transnational education. In line with this, director of studies for the program Dr. Jonathan Muir arrived in the Philippines recently to support the significant partnership of the two institutions.
“This is a great opportunity to extend and solidify our reach in Southeast Asia. As we are already offering the same program with partner institutions in Singapore and Hong Kong and other locations around the globe, we are looking forward to provide students and managers in the Philippines a venue to study the best contemporary business management practices that will expand their knowledge and develop their networks,” Dr. Muir said.
“The advent of technology has transformed education. Students are now presented with the opportunity to earn an international degree without having to uproot themselves and put their careers on hold. Students even benefit from having the same faculty who teach in the UK come to Manila to teach classes here. This classroom-based experience is enriched by online access to the latest business journals and pre-selected videos and articles. In the truest sense, the university comes to you,” Antonio Esteban, executive director of AIS, added.
With subjects ranging from Strategic Management to Managing Companies in Emerging Economies, Bradford ’s MBA program prides itself in designing modules that are relevant, applied and with firm foundations on theories and ideas. All classes taught in Manila are enriched by tutorials that specifically address scenarios evident in the Philippines and the Southeast Asian business market.
