Ms. Rhodora M. Brazil-De Vera is a Deputy Director at the Sustainable Finance Staff unit under the Supervisory Policy and Research Department, Financial Supervision Sector of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).
The Sustainable Finance Staff leads the development and implementation of policy issuances (e.g., Sustainable Finance Framework) and coordinates with counterpart local and foreign financial sector regulators and supervisors related to sustainable finance (e.g., NGFS, ASEAN SLC TF). The team is also involved in the development of the BSP’s Sustainable Central Banking Program and implementation of identified strategies and supporting initiatives.
Ms. Brazil-De Vera is a member of various working groups such as the Philippine Sustainability Reporting Committee, Financial Sector Forum’s Sub-team on Sustainable Finance Taxonomy, NGFS Workstream on Supervision, and AFI Inclusive Green Finance Working Group.
