Joey Concepcion founded the Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship – Go Negosyo in 2005 to advocate for entrepreneurship in the Philippines. He served under two Philippine Presidents as Presidential Adviser for Entrepreneurship, and is currently the lead of the Jobs Sector cluster of the Private Sector Advisory Council. He is also the Vice Chair of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development (MSMED) Council.

He served as the Chairman of the ASEAN Business Advisory Council in 2017, and established the ASEAN Mentorship for Entrepreneurs Network as the legacy project of the Philippines chairmanship.

Joey initiated the Kapatid Angat Lahat sa Agri Program in 2022 to leverage the potential of MSMEs and the power of public-private sector cooperation in creating a more inclusive and sustainable agriculture sector for the Philippines. In 2023, he spearheaded a region-wide food security and agriculture cooperation in the private sector under the ASEAN Food Security Alliance initiative.

Joey is the recipient of several local and international awards for his achievements in business and socio-civic work, and is currently the Chairman, President and CEO of RFM Corp., Chairman of the RFM Unilever Ice Cream Corp., and a Director and Executive Committee member of Concepcion Industries, Inc.
