ICTSI Portland project opens window for trade

The government has formally launched a logistics facility in Portland, Oregon recently, following the awarding of logistics contract to Philippine company International Container Terminal Services Inc. (ICTSI) in 2010, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) reported.

To expand Philippine trade and investment relationships, trade officials led by Undersecretary for International Trade Adrian Cristobal Jr., Philippine Trade and Investment Center–Silicon Valley Trade Commissioner Josephine Romero, and Consul General to Portland Richard Woodling met with Oregon’s Mayor Sam Adams, Philippine-American Chamber of Commerce in Oregon, and business leaders from the garments, green technology and medical sectors.
