A KOREAN firm will invest $1 billion over the next three years for potential power projects, an official told reporters on Friday.
“Our planned invest in the next three years will be $1 billion for the equity portion,” said Jiheun Yun, Korea Water Resources Corp. (K-Water) representative to the Philippines, said in an interview with reporters.
He added that the company is looking for local partners for power projects in the country as well.
The company’s projects include the Angat hydroelectric power plant, solar power systems and a hydropower plant in Kapangan, Benguet.
