The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) Law Amendments aim to update and improve the regulatory framework governing civil aviation, ensuring better oversight and operational standards.

Meanwhile, the Philippine Airports Authority Bill seeks to separate the conflicting functions of CAAP as an airport regulator and operator, establishing a more streamlined and effective management structure for airport operations, addressing infrastructure challenges and promoting airport development.

Together, these pieces of complementary legislation aim to modernize the airport sector, boost its competitiveness, and improve passenger experience.
