A STATE agency has moved to bid out the air space above a stretch of the Philippine National Railway (PNR), which had earlier been identified as the alignment of a elevated expressway proposed by Metro Pacific Investment Corp. (MPIC).
In a notice published yesterday, the government-run Home Guaranty Corp. (HGC) said it was seeking buyers for a 14-kilometer long, 14-meter wide airspace roughly ten meters above the portion of the railway between Sen. Gil Puyat Ave. in Makati City and Samson Road in Caloocan City.
“[We are] inviting interested buyers to submit proposals for the purchase of the property through outsight sale or joint venture agreement,” the notice read.
