Sluggish demand for chicken– expected to continue even as Metro Manila and other areas shift to a modified enhanced community quarantine. Cargill Joy Poultry Meats Production or C-Joy, the chicken supplier of Jollibee Foods Corporation, says that’s as restaurants are expected to limit capacity due to social distancing protocols. C-Joy venture partner Cargill Philippines says they are currently dealing with an oversupply of poultry products. C-Joy meanwhile assures of sustained manpower despite the slow poultry demand.
