Semiconductor group seeks rethink of tax reform for companies

The Semiconductor and Electronics Industries in the Philippines Foundation Inc is asking Congress to re-think the rationalization of fiscal incentives under the second round of tax reforms. SEIPI president Dan Lachica says it will be better to keep the Philippine Economic Zone Authority or PEZA, as a one-stop shop for foreign investors rather than create a new board.
