Ms. Karen G. Magno started her work in the Government in 1999 with the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority. She worked first in the Legal Department and is now the Manager of the Business and Investment Department for Manufacturing and Maritime of the Business and Investment Group.
A true public servant that practices the value of ‘malasakit’, professionalism, honesty, integrity and perseverance. She is a consistent outstanding employee from 2006 to 2010. She belongs to the Roster of Outstanding Employees of the SBMA and was once nominated to the 2011 Search for Outstanding Government Workers of the Civil Service Commission’s PAG ASA Award.

Her expertise in presenting the Subic Bay Freeport Zone in different fora and conferences, local and foreign business missions, has brought several investors into the Freeport. Ms. Magno has the business and marketing prowess of a person who knows what the Subic Freeport can offer, more than its environmentally safe and protected environment, she showcases the people and its capable workforce, the ideal safe and conducive business environment of the Freeport.
Ms. Karen G. Magno hails from Laoag City, Ilocos Norte. The Province that produced two of the country’s presidents. A college graduate of the Saint Louis University, Baguio City, Philippines with a Degree in Communication Arts and a Graduate Degree Holder of Management from the University of the Philippines.
