Paolo is a passionate advocate for the transformative role of creativity in driving business growth, breakthrough innovation, sustainable development, societal improvement, and cultural enrichment. As the Founder and President of the Creative Economy Council of the Philippines (CECP), Paolo has dedicated himself to advancing the Philippine creative industries and the broader creative economy. He played a key role in shaping the Philippine Creative Industries Development Act, which aims to position the country as a global creative powerhouse. Paolo has also authored the Philippines’ first National Design Policy and is active in helping Philippine cities achieve UNESCO Creative City recognition.

In his corporate journey, Paolo served as Asia-Pacific President for Ogilvy Consulting where he led Behavioral Science, Brand Transformation, and Marketing Innovation for brands across the region. Previously, he held the role of Chief Marketing Officer for Nestlé in the Philippines and China. Paolo has also held global marketing communication leadership roles at the Nestlé head office in Switzerland and the Publicis head office in Paris, France. These roles allowed him to shape strategies for iconic global brands and champion consumer-focused innovation.

Paolo graduated with honors from the Ateneo de Manila University with a bachelors degree and post graduate studies in Psychology. Paolo is also the first Filipino graduate and valedictorian for the Berlin School of Creative Leadership MBA program.

With over two decades of experience in creative leadership, policy advocacy, and global marketing, Paolo thrives at the intersection of business and creativity, helping to unlock growth and transform industries.
