As the major advocacy arm of the Joint Foreign Chambers (JFC), Arangkada works to make the Philippines a more competitive, investment-ready, and sustainable economy—one where businesses can grow, investments can create jobs, and Filipinos can benefit from greater economic opportunities. Launched in 2010, Arangkada’s work is grounded in Arangkada Philippines 2010: A Business Perspective (https://arangkadaphilippines.com/arangkada-philippines-a-business-perspective/), a policy agenda developed from the perspective of businesses committed to the Philippines’ long-term growth. Over the years, that vision has evolved into sustained engagement with government, business organizations, industry leaders, and other stakeholders to turn policy recommendations into meaningful reforms.
We believe that when good policy meets responsible investment, the result is more than economic growth—it is opportunity. Opportunity for businesses to grow, for industries to thrive, for communities to prosper, and for Filipinos to build better futures. That is the purpose of Arangkada: to help move the Philippines forward, together.
Through concerted advocacy, Arangkada has facilitated breakthrough reforms including the Retail Trade Liberalization Act (RTLA) amendments, Foreign Investments Act (FIA) updates, and streamlined ease of doing business frameworks across local governments.
